The Stand By Art Director is the on-set Art Director — handling Art-department issues during the shoot day. Set tweaks, repair, continuity, on-the-fly problem solving.

What the role does

• Stands by on set during the shoot
• Handles on-set Art issues — set tweaks, breakage repair, dressing adjustments
• Manages set continuity between takes
• Coordinates with Set Decorator team on dressing changes
• Reports issues + solutions to Art Director / Production Designer

Position

Reports to Art Director on set.
