Best Boy Electric

The Best Boy Electric is the senior support to the Gaffer — managing the Electrical team's kit, scheduling, and on-set rigging operations.

What the role does

• Manages Electrical kit + equipment + supplier deals
• Coordinates lighting rig setup on set under Gaffer's design direction
• Supervises Electrician (Spark) + Generator Operator + Electrician Trainee
• Handles on-set lighting changes during takes

Position

Reports to Gaffer.

Path: Electrician (Spark) → Best Boy Electric → Gaffer.
