HoD Rigger

The HoD Rigger leads the rigging team — installing + managing the structural rigging that holds sets, scenery, lighting suspensions, and camera supports.

What the role does

• Leads structural rigging for set elements
• Coordinates with Key Grip on camera supports + dollies
• Coordinates with Gaffer on lighting suspension points
• Manages safety + load calculations for rigged elements
• Supervises rigging team

Position

Reports to Construction Coordinator. Coordinates with Key Grip (Grip) + Gaffer (Electrical) on cross-department rigging.
