# For the Finance Director / CFO — using Togra

Company finance — the Teoranta forecast and position, slate cashflow, cost reports across the slate, and the book of record.

Finance / CFO is a slate-wide group persona — you see the full nav and have access across every project, because company finance touches everything. It is distinct from the Production Accountant: a production accountant runs one production's books; you run the company's finance.

## Where you land
You land on the Company Position (company-position.php) in Teoranta — the present-tense, slate-wide snapshot of pipeline, money received, exposure and concerns. (This and the rest of Teoranta are admin/lead-level, which a CFO is.)

## Your surfaces & workflows
- Company finance — Teoranta (Forecasting). The entity backbone (parent + per-project DACs), the present-tense Company Position, and the 10-year company P&L + cashflow forecast with scenario comparison. This is your home.
- Per-project financing — Airgead (Financing). Finance plans, slate cashflow, the cost report and hot costs, and the S481/S487A/AVEC tax-credit trackers. The Airgead Finance Model pushes a project up into your Teoranta forecast.
- The book of record — Cuntasaíocht (Accounts). The general ledger, financial statements, VAT and year-end across the company's entities — the actuals your forecast and position are built on.
- Revenue — Cearta (Rights). The recoupment waterfall, residual obligations and the collection-account loop — where a title's money comes back.

## How it fits together
Your view spans the whole money stack: the books (Cuntasaíocht) record the actuals; the cost report (Airgead) reads those same journals so the producer's numbers and the statutory books agree; revenue flows in through Cearta; and it all rolls up into the Teoranta company P&L, position and forecast you own. Because you're a slate-wide persona, you see every project — and you can delegate the per-project books to a Production Accountant without giving away the company view.

## CFO vs Production Accountant
- You (CFO): company-level — Teoranta forecast/position, slate cashflow, financing strategy, oversight of the books across the slate. Land on the Company Position.
- Production Accountant: project-level — variances, drawdowns, fees, residuals and S481 spend on the productions they're assigned to. Land on the PA hub.
