Construction Coordinator

The Construction Coordinator is the head of department for Construction. Runs the build operation from the Art Director's drawings through to delivered set, coordinating the trades within Construction — carpentry, painting, plastering, rigging.

What the role does

• Translates drawings into build packages for each trade
• Manages the Construction schedule + build sequencing
• Coordinates trade leads — HoD Carpenter, HoD Painter, HoD Plasterer, HoD Rigger
• Manages Construction budget + materials
• Liaises with Art Director on design + Construction integration
• Oversees Construction Manager on operational execution

Position

Reports to Art Director / Production Designer. Supervises the trade HoDs + Construction Manager.
