Make-up Artist

The Make-up Artist is the working level on the Make-up team — covering principal + supporting cast under the Key Make-up Artist.

What the role does

• Applies + maintains make-up on principal + supporting cast
• Executes design looks per the Make-up Designer's concept
• Manages continuity between takes
• Supports the Crowd Make-up Supervisor on busy days

Position

Reports to Key Make-up Artist.

SI Competency Framework Level 3 — Experienced. Path: Make-up Trainee → Junior Make-up Artist → Make-up Artist → Key Make-up Artist.
